After-School Childcare Helper for UW Faculty Family

Monday-Friday, 2:30–5:30 PM

We’re happy to hire one person for all days or split the week between two students depending on availability.

Supervise children after school through homework, crafts, and playtime

Help maintain a fun, safe, and organized environment until parents arrive

(Optional) Pick up children from school and drive them home if you have a car and are comfortable driving with children

Experience with children (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, camp counselor, etc.)

Reliable, responsible, and friendly

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record preferred

Access to your own car a plus (family vehicle also available)

$25/hour (up to $30/hour depending on experience, availability of driving, and own vehicle)

We are a UW faculty couple looking for a responsible, caring UW–Madison student to help with after-school care for our children.

We’re happy to start right away and would love to work with someone long-term (including during winter/summer breaks), but that’s not required. Whether or not you drive, we’d love to hear from you if you enjoy working with kids and helping after school.
