- Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
- Collects and discards litter or other waste materials.
- Performs minor repairs and maintenance, such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and gymnasium.
- Performs limited grounds maintenance such as mowing lawns and trimming bushes, shrubs, weeds and hedges, and cleaning sidewalks.
- Empties trash and recycling containers.
- Applies fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides as directed.
- Ensures heating and cooling systems are operational.
- Maintains a neat and orderly janitors room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
- Washes windows.
- Assists in examining clubhouse for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to Fleets and Facilities Manager and/or Branch Director.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and judgment.
- Excellent time management skills.

The Facility and Grounds Maintenance Worker maintains the facility and grounds to ensure full and productive use of the facility.

Ability to keep the clubhouse clean and orderly.
Ability to interact with staff, members, parents, and visitors at the Clubs while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
Ability to operate various types of power equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping.
Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to forty pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Must be physically able to operate power equipment. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
