      Caterpillar provides services to our customers far beyond the initial equipment sale. Caterpillar’s Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) exists to support enterprise efforts to deliver value-added services to customers. By enhancing customer value, Caterpillar and our dealers create the opportunity to profitably grow our businesses while reducing the impact of market cycles.

      What will you do?

      In this role, you will drive parts revenue and services growth for the Construction Industries aftermarket business for select Caterpillar dealers in the Eastern US and Caribbean. You will communicate targets and follow established sales processes focused on the end customer. You will also provide leadership, guidance, and counsel to optimize dealer sales through process improvements, in addition to leveraging opportunity management systems and processes to Caterpillar’s benefit, while recognizing and respecting independence of the dealer.

      • Deliver the annual total business plan for the assigned dealer territories/customer segments

      • Collaborate with assigned dealers to adopt sales funnel management methods in relation to target customer segments

      • Develop and implement aftermarket services industry account plans for customer accounts in collaboration with assigned dealers

      • Develop local action plans and customer account plans, leveraging CRM and customer insights, to target lost sales

      • Build relationships with dealer’s Product Support Sales Managers and their sales and marketing organization to influence sales force effectiveness

      • Conduct regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensure implementation of corrective actions where needed

      • Champion and influence change related to Caterpillar parts & service support strategies, products, and services

      • Seek understanding, document, and communicate internally on target customer requirements, business models, competitive landscape and other market intelligence to ensure product groups and business partners are aware of product and customer needs

      • Optimize parts sales variance utilization within assigned budget to drive incremental top line revenue and key dealer actions

      • Keep up to date with industry trends, changing technology and market regulations in countries covered

      Basic Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of professional experience

      • 4+ years of professional experience in the areas of Sales, B2B account management, or After-sales support working with OEM dealers, construction dealers or heavy equipment dealers

      • Demonstrated analytical aptitude to develop relevant, strong growth campaigns

      • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute plans to achieve metrics

      • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

      Additional Details:

      • This is a travelling role (30%) covering a territory in parts of the Eastern U.S. and Caribbean

      • Posting Location: Miami, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Peoria, Illinois; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania are preferred locations

      • This is a remote position that covers dealers in parts of the U.S. and Caribbean. The selected candidate should reside within the U.S. within their territory or reside in the U.S. and be within commuting distance to a major airport
