What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect, interview, and approve new appointments to expand agency distribution
- Manage agents through in-person, virtual, phone, and email interactions to enhance performance
- Translate national strategic initiatives into local goals and objectives for agents
- Evaluate agency performance and hold agents accountable for agreed-upon action plans
- Conduct training sessions for agency staff on products, services, and value propositions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to perform essential functions, including seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking
- Clear, empathic, and professional communication skills via phone
- Ability to follow complex instructions and resolve conflicts
- Strong organizational and priority-setting skills
- Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of sales or relevant insurance experience
- Prior experience driving sales results
- Familiarity with different lines of insurance (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health)
- Compliance with driving standards and/or policy
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
