What you will be doing

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Wing Structure Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following;

• Static Stress analysis, from first principles to FEM based analysis

• Design – CATIA tools, configuration management and DMU

• Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis

• Digitalisation - automating processes using coding skills

What we look for

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate:

• Education to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study,

• Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or any relevant fields.

• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English),

• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation,

• The ability to be self aware, accepting feedback and acting upon it, willing to learn and driving your development.

What you will need to apply

• Degree Type: Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or higher)

• Specific experience or interests in the field of aerospace or engineering

• Natural curiosity and excitement to explore

• Excited to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• Passion about Aerospace and the challenges of the civil aircraft market

• Sensitivity to clients needs and ability to develop good client relationships

• Proficient oral and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate well within a team

• Good knowledge of coding and data analysis techniques is desirable but not essential

Salary: £31,000
