- Support station processes during harvest, including working with husking dryers and conditioning.
- Use a company vehicle for work, maintaining an excellent driving record.

Field Research Assistant

Job Description
The Field Research Assistant will perform a variety of routine tasks associated with research seed production. This role includes supporting seed production activities throughout the field season, operating field equipment, and assisting with harvest activities as needed. The position may require working in inclement weather, including windy, hot, and cold conditions. Tasks may be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings. The Field Assistant must be able to understand and follow both written and oral instructions. General instructions will be provided for routine tasks, while detailed instructions will be given for new tasks. The work will be supervised.

Work Environment
Shifts will mostly follow standard harvest schedules, which can fluctuate between 5am starts and 4pm ends. Currently, shifts run from 6am to 2:30pm. During the field season, shifts will be from 5am to 1:30pm. Tasks may be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings. The role requires the ability to work in inclement weather, including windy, hot, and cold conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
