Job Description

- Understanding the state of art and working with the team to identify improvement area of the product.
- Being able to design the component from thermal and mechanical point of view using international software and preparing the relevant documentation necessary for requisition according to project Specs, International Codes and third Parties requirements and in strict coordination with other disciplines such as process, manufacturing and testing department.
- Being able to understand project requirements for duty, footprint, plant interface and manufacturability requirements.
- Managing workload assuring the performances in terms of timeliness (OTD) and quality (FTY) of the deliverables.
- Working on product’s development identifying new solutions and new technologies to enhance performance and reduce emissions.
- Being able to design test bench and defining test procedure to validate the assumption and the new technologies.
- Being able to collect, analyze and present the test result to the management.
- Implementing the result achieved in the design tool and update the design standard.
- Hold an Energy/Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Show knowledge of HTRI or equivalent thermal design software
- Display knowledge of FEM tools (i.e Ansys, Fluent)
- Have knowledge of Acoustic concept like sound power levels, sound pressure levels, propagation, and reflection
- Show knowledge of characteristic of Materials in terms of noise absorption.
- Have good knowledge of 3D CAD systems, such as NX or similar, and to interface/exchange models with calculation SW
- Display cross-functional team-working skills
- Be able to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent executive requests in a timely manner
- Show Italian and English language fluency
- Display good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

As Air Cooler Design Engineer, you will be responsible of design of an Air Cooler heat exchanger from thermodynamic and mechanical point of view, according to project requirement and international standard. Moreover, in this role, the design Engineer shall be responsible to identify state of art of the components and further development in terms of thermal performance and emission reduction. She/he will be also in charge to carry out all tests and analysis necessary to prove the performance enhancement and consequently cost, carbon print and footprint reduction.
