      Job Title: Aircraft Painter

      Job Description

      As a Painter, you will be responsible for painting all components following the Component Maintenance Manual guidelines. This includes prepping components, removing damage, applying primer and topcoat, and maintaining all required records of paint room consumables. You will also ensure that all necessary tooling and safety equipment are kept in optimal condition.

      Responsibilities

      • Repair damage to all components prior to painting.
      • Prep and paint all components in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual and customer requests.
      • Maintain all tooling and safety equipment related to the paint room.
      • Keep records of all consumables used in the paint room.
      • Track inventory of all consumables used in the paint room.
      • Maintain the shelf life of all required consumables in the paint room.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience in an aerospace environment is preferred
      • Mechanically inclined
      • Experience with industrial painting and paint prep
      • Familiarity with spray gun and blasting techniques

      Work Environment

      This is a fully on-site position located in Phoenix, Arizona, operating in an indoor environment equipped with swamp coolers and fans. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime available as required and approved. The role demands regular standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with specific vision abilities required.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
