Overview

The Aircraft Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining established aircraft records, both in the maintenance computer system and AirVault records system in a neat and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Scanning and uploading files to create digital copies of physical records.
• Performs data entry tasks on all incoming maintenance paperwork
• Ensures all maintenance documents are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Completes audits of paperwork to ensure accuracy with the Aircraft Maintenance Computer System (AMCS)
• Responsible for initiating Records Discrepancy Notices and follow through for closure of any corrections required within a prescribed amount of time.
• Research component history/location in AMCS (PMI)
• Provide Support to external agencies and internal departments regarding requests and audits.
• Process heavy check paperwork.
• Accomplish monthly self-audits.
• Work with Senior Records Clerk for on-the-job training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1-3 Years of data entry experience
• Proficient in: MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and general internet applications.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal form to various levels of the organization
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Strong ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with focus on communication and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with AirVault computer system is preferred.
• Airline industry or operational experience is strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Repetitive motion such as: typing and data entry.
• Computer work in a typical office environment, sitting for the majority of the day.
• Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
