- Receive, organize, audit, file, and maintain aircraft records from internal and external maintenance providers
- Review documentation of maintenance accomplished for accuracy, proper sign offs, and compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
- Review documentation of AD-related maintenance work for proper sign offs and compliance
- Verify electronic records are properly updated in conjunction with aircraft record log entries
- Document aircraft record deficiencies, communicate, and confirm corrections
- Develop processes to simplify and improve aircraft records and recordkeeping
- Conduct historical research and prepare reports as requested
- Respond to Team Member queries for records retrieval
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Understanding and working knowledge of FAA regulations
- Knowledgeable with Aircraft Maintenance Programs, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Technical Directives
- Airframe and Powerplant certificate (A&P)
- 2 years of aircraft records experience, including auditing experience with maintenance paperwork
- High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- 2 year degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business or equivalent experience

- Familiar with an Aircraft Maintenance Systems such as CORRIDOR preferred

The role
The Aircraft Records Specialist is responsible for maintaining and auditing aircraft records to ensure the airworthiness of ATP aircraft. The Aircraft Records Specialist reports to the Director of Maintenance and supports aircraft delivery processes, historical records review, and serves as a liaison with internal and external maintenance providers regarding aircraft records.
