Monitor and advise the flight crew of any circumstances or changes that might affect flight safety
FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations
Computer literacy
Previous experience as a dispatcher
Fast-paced office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Airline Dispatcher in our Flight Operations Department. The position’s primary responsibility is flight planning and monitoring, considering aircraft performance and loading, en route winds, thunderstorm and turbulence forecasts, airspace restrictions, and airport conditions. All flights require a dispatcher to sign off before they can take the flight. Considering the conditions above, this signature deems the flight safe to depart. The successful candidate will hold a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Operations.

Starting Rate:
