      Hours: Core office hours with flexibility required
      Contract: Permanent, full-time position

      DHL Air (UK) Ltd is the largest all-cargo air carrier in the UK, operating a fleet of B757-200SF, B767-300F & B777-200F aircraft on worldwide operations. Part of the DHL Express team with our headquarters at East Midlands Airport, we wish to enhance the team to deliver our customer promise of: Excellence, Simply Delivered.

      We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Airline Security Officer to join our team at the EMA Hub in Derbyshire. This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing security protocols to ensure compliance with national and international aviation security regulations. You will work closely with DHL Security colleagues, industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement to enhance our security measures and maintain our commitment to safety.

      As our Airline Security Officer, you will;

      • Develop and maintain the Security Management System of DHL Air (UK) in line with international regulatory requirements and IOSA standards
      • Manage multiple internal regulated documents which define security policies and procedures applicable to multiple international security programmes
      • Ensure compliance with the UK/EU ACC3 respective cargo security regimes, to allow DHK to operate unabated in accordance with network demand
      • Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions
      • Serve as the Cyber Security Responsible Manager, analysing IT processes for vulnerabilities and implementing improvement practices in accordance with UK CAA requirements
      • Engage with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to influence security regulation changes
      • Address regulatory shortfalls and recommend strategies for compliance
      • Act as a point of contact for DHL Air (UK) foreign Operator approvals as required
      • Be responsible for producing and maintaining Security Risk Assessments

      Requirements;

      • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, or respective field
      • Capable of achieving CTC clearance or higher
      • 3 year's of working in an aviation security role, within an airline environment preferred
      • The ability to multitask and to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines is essential
      • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
