- This position prepares and portions food, nourishment’s and special items following standardized recipes and procedures.
- This position works under the supervision of the Manager, Lead or Resource and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
- Prepares food for patients, special functions, and cafeteria using standardized recipes in the amount specified by production sheets; utilizing food and plate presentation as instructed.
- Processes all foods and operates equipment according to sanitation and safety regulations.
- Assembles patient trays according to the tray tickets.
- Inventories and utilizes in a timely manner any perishable and over produced food items.
- Actively participates in cross training initiatives throughout the Department.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous institutional dietary food service of at least 1 year preferred.
