- Req#: ALGOR009056
- Under direct supervision assists members of the Scientific Computing Group with management and analysis of pump data.
- Contributes to the analysis reports generated by the Scientific Computing Group.
- Creates summaries and graphical summaries of data from specific pumps.
- Under supervision, uses the Tandem in-silico model to analyze changes to the dosing algorithms.
- Assists with developing scripts for data analysis.
- Supports the data analysis process by creating special purpose scripts.
- Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
- Able to effectively convey information related to work product in one-on-one conversation or in a group.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to alter behavior and opinions in light of new information.
- Experienced with MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer sciences or related field.
- Experience with a statistical analysis package such as mini-Tab or SPSS.
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python.
- Experience with higher level mathematics including linear algebra, multivariate calculus, statistics, differential equations, and numerical analysis.
- Intern experience in related environment valuable.

COMPENSATION:
The starting base pay range for this position is $32.00 per hour. Pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market.
*This is a temporary position. As a temporary employee you will be employed through a staffing agency partner. Benefits during your temporary assignment may be provided by the staffing agency. Access to Tandem sponsored benefits is contingent upon conversion from temporary to regular full-time status. Conversion is determined based upon business need and job performance.
