What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with data entry, data quality control, scanning, and filing
- Process cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) and whole blood samples in a wet lab setting
- Prepare study visits, including reminder letters, visit paperwork, and labeling samples
- Recruit and screen study participants, including phone calls
- Manage training requirements in conjunction with study workload
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Enrolled as a UW-Madison undergraduate student
- Some biological sciences or healthcare-related coursework
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently after training
- Commitment to defined work schedules
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Freshman or sophomore students with a desire for a long-term commitment
- Health-related employment or volunteer background
- Experience in a wet lab setting or clinical research studies
