      Purpose

      Reporting to the Traffic Manager, this position is responsible for the overall coordination, scheduling, and assignment of copy/audio content for the production department

      This is a benefits-eligible position, offering medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 401K eligibility (employee contributions after 3 months, employer matching and safe harbor after 1 year and 1000 hours of employment), as well as other benefits. The expected hourly rate of pay for this position will be between $21.00 and $23.00 , with final offers determined by factors such as experience and skills.

      Job Duties

      • Assist the Traffic Manager.
      • Act as backup to Traffic Manager.
      • Maintain accurate records of all related tasks concerning a client(s) production request(s).
      • When requested by clients/corporate sales, process airtimes and send to them via email or fax.
      • When requested capture air checks for all departments.
      • Complete weekly post log analysis for agencies.
      • Communicates to sales department in regard to missing copy, copy received, and copy status.
      • Write commercial copy for sales staff upon request.
      • Coordinate local commercial copy production. Review/approve and send to sales department for final approval.
      • Review and input commercial copy instructions and create production orders for delivery to the production department.
      • Enter/revise weekly network orders and create production orders for delivery to the production department.
      • Enter/revise all promotional schedules and create production orders for delivery to the production department.
      • Review and approve agency commercials before airing.
      • Create and revise the weekly station programming rundown for Traffic Manager.
      • Complete weekly network affidavits.
      • Share in the daily log process with Traffic Manager
      • Create deal sheets for all KLAA contracts.

          Requirements

          • 2+ years of experience working with Traffic Systems and radio experience preferred
          • High School Diploma or equivalent required, advanced degree preferred
          • Ability to multitask, manage and follow through on multiple projects, prioritize duties, and handle a high volume workload
          • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
          • Excellent communication, training, and customer service skills
          • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
          • Ability to effectively identify and analyze problems and recommend solutions to address challenges
          • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred
          • Flexibility to work extended hours, as needed

          Physical Demands - Persons in this position may have to:

          • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
          • Occasionally traverse to various locations around the stadium.
          • Continuously operate devices that are capable of completing essential job functions such as computer.
          • May be occasionally subjected to extreme heat (over 90 degrees) when working outdoors i.e. performing work in an around the stadium.
          • May be subjected to loud noises during stadium events.
          • Occasionally lift equipment up to 10 lbs.
