- Be attentive and provide exceptional, professional customer service to Amazon employees.
- Welcome and provide guidance through the check in process to Amazon employees on their first day
- Assume day-to-day responsibility for assigned projects and successful task completion, with an ability to work independently and out of line of sight from other team members for all or part of shift
- Assist with new tasks, processes, or projects as needed to support evolving team requirements, other NWC divisions, and asks from Amazon partners. Is not change adverse and demonstrates adaptability as business needs develop and shift
- Act as the point of reference for Amazon employees who need assistance or information
- Able to think fast, find answers, and respond quickly to Amazon employee issues, all with a polite, empathic, and professional voice and manner
- Hand out swag, badges, computers, and any other additional items during orientation
- Provide guidance and solutions to Amazonians that may come up during the onboarding process
- Support moving supplies to locations as necessary
- Work collaboratively to support PXT teams
- Utilize organization-specific programs during the check in process
- Responsible for building knowledge, and providing information regard the Amazon campus and the surrounding area
- Minimum 1-year customer service, event staffing, or administrative support experience
- Positive, upbeat attitude and able to get along with everyone, customer-focused attitude, both in person and virtually
- Excellent interpersonal skills; polite and professional verbal and written communication. With high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using MS Office suite of products preferred
- Must be reliable and punctual with excellent organizational skills
- Must have demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Provide quick resolution to customer issues
- Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to maintain composure and good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to frequently lift or carry items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including occasionally arriving early, staying late on a momentu2019s notice and occasional eveningu00A0and weekends
- The position requires standing and mobility around the campus for long periods of time up to the entire length of the shift
- Ability to work independently and out of line of sight from other team members for all or part of shift.
- Requires travel to several Amazon buildings so the ability to walk consistently within a 1.5 radius is required.
- May need to carry supplies to other buildings
- Ability to work on a tablet/computer
- This is a dog friendly environment with over 1000 dogs on campus. Individuals with dog allergies or those who do not particularly care for dogs may not be the best fit
The Northwest Center @ Amazon team operates in a fast-paced and demanding corporate environment where we provide professional 5-star customer service across several program divisions. Under direction of the Program Manager, Special Projects and in partnership with Amazon PXT, this role will support and welcome Amazon employees during new hire and continuous development training sessions.u00A0As a PXT Ambassador, you are the first point of contact to welcome and greet employees during their training sessions. You will assist with a variety of administrative activities and tasks including greeting and checking in leaners, distributing swag, assisting with supply setup, and providing guidance and directions as needed. You will be an on-site contact for catering, room setup, and AV Issues and perform light troubleshooting as needed. You are a solution provider and seek to provide a memorable customer centric experience through each interaction; you will set the tone for their learning experience and get these employees excited for their future.u00A0An individual who will be successful in this role has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously, and the ability to operate successfully with generalized direction and guidelines for specific processes.
