- Acknowledges, greets, and converses with guests on the gaming floor.
- Promotes the Casino Del Sol Resort by interacting with guests in an enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly manner.
- Creates and issues rewards cards and promotes the Player's Club program and related promotions.
- Performs data entry on new or changed membership information.
- Issues point vouchers and complimentaries as designated by guest account information.
- Ensures accuracy of data entry records and maintains confidentiality of guest information.
- Ensures the confidentiality of information and protection of guest rewards.
- Helps facilitate special events and slot promotions.
- Notifies management or lead of guest needs and requests they are unable to handle; follows up to ensure needs were met.
- Meets department goals and quotas which includes 70% or more in mandatory data collection.
- Produces and delivers club material.
- Maintains a constant awareness of all Casino Del Sol Resort's services, promotions, and events.
- Fosters team work by working collaboratively with coworkers and ensuring that work is completed that brings credit to the team.
- Adheres to applicable regulatory, departmental, and Casino Del Sol Resort's policies and procedures.
- Stands at main entrance and greets guests, when applicable.
- Presents a well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of Casino Del Sol Resort's services, promotions, and events.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory, departmental and Casino Del Sol Resort's policies and procedures.
- Organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Good communication skills.
- Skill in working courteously with the public as well as developing and maintaining good working relationships.
- Ability to generate business by signing up guests for the Player's Club program and encouraging use of the club card.
- Ability to respond calmly and diplomatically when handling guest demands.
- Ability to keep aware of the constant changes and enhancements of the Player's Club program and its benefits.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations pertaining to the position.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to work in a smoking environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to operate office equipment such as a photocopier, fax machine, and ten key.
- Six months guest service experience, AND ability to read, write, speak, and understand English AND computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Must successfully pass competency assessment.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime, as needed.
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid gaming license.
- High school or General Equivalency Diploma.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Previous commission, telemarketing, or retail sales experience.
