Job Description

- Welcomes guests to Atlanta Mission and works to develop relationships
- Performs guest information sessions and explains types of services offered by Atlanta Mission
- Meets guest's needs by providing hygiene and clothing items, marta cards, etc.
- Adheres to all laws, regulations, and codes of conduct/ethics governing the client/staff relationship
- Reports legal, ethical, and/or safety concerns and ensures client compliance with policies
- Utilizes appropriate conflict resolution techniques
- Fosters teamwork environment, working cross-functionally and collaboratively as needed
- Administers needs assessment for guests using the client management system
- Tracks client information in the client management system
- Schedules client appointments and referrals for assessments with the Social Worker
- Teaches life skills classes and leads recreational opportunities
- Leads weekly devotionals

- At least one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is constant
- Proven ability to be a self-starter
- Well organized, diligent and reliable in following through on commitments
- Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing, walking or sitting)
- Must have the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs
- Must have the ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to communicate accurate information
- Insurance Coverage:
