      The Finance Manager, Ambulatory Services, is responsible for leading a team of analysts to facilitate Ambulatory's month-end close and annual budget processes. This position is a key point of contact for Ambulatory Services and is responsible for advising management on strategic and operational decisions.

      Qualifications

      B.S. in Business, Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA preferred | Three years experience in a health care environment | Management experience preferred.

      Responsibilities

      Evaluate annual budget targets provided and determine how best to achieve those targets. Develop and monitor the budget process for Ambulatory Services. Maintain reporting which monitors financial performance. Determine volume adjusted variances by analyzing per unit performance and utilizing flexible budget tools. Research significant budget variances and follow up as needed. Develop recovery plans for both expense and revenue variances. Direct and oversee staff.

      Assist management with financial analytics. Communicate financial results to senior management and assist in developing strategic initiatives that will improve the financial performance of the hospital. Perform complex financial analysis for evaluation and assessment of new and existing programs and services.
