      AmeriCorps positions at the Institute for Family Health

      The Institute is partnering with the Community Health Care Association of New York State (CHCANYS) to offer Public Health AmeriCorps positions at the Institute for the 2023-24 program ( CHCANYS AmeriCorps | Community Health Care Association of New York State ). Positions are available for 10 month, full-time service terms.

      Members are expected to work Monday- Friday during business hours. Members are required to participate in team days, service projects and selected site specific trainings. CHCANYS Public Health AmeriCorps members receive a living allowance of $26,000, in addition to other benefits including transportation expenses and health insurance. Members also receive extensive public health training and professional development and an education award of $6,495 at the successful completion of their term.
