The Americas Reseller Operations NPI/SME Manager drives the highest level of program & project management and strategy for both New Product Introductions (NPI) and Global RO Projects. In this role, you will be responsible for leading highly complex and cross-functional projects/programs, many of which have high-level visibility within Apple.

      Key Qualifications

      • The successful candidate will have 6 - 8 years Operations experience, preferably in a high tech or computer-related industry.
      • Prior experience in new product introductions, project management, product planning, production control, inventory management, or production / manufacturing operations is strongly preferred.
      • Combine a working knowledge of world class supply chain practices, strong analytical capabilities, and business savvy.
      • Exert tactful influence in a matrixed organization - must be a strong great teammate and communicator.
      • Candidate should be comfortable presenting to executive management.
      • Additional requirements include the ability to both think strategically and implement tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with numbers.

      Description

      Key Competencies: - Ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in critical situations - Solid data analytics/quantitative skills and ability to interpret trends from sophisticated data structures for planning decisions - Knowledge of CPFR process with special focus on forecasting - Excels when dealing with ambiguity - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public - Gather and disseminates information to internal customers needed to make decisions and drive the business - Work with senior leaders and functional experts to understand account business problems and processes - Effectively maneuver within the account and business to get to the right people - Provide appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reporting - Identify, communicate and manage account risks related to NPI Stakeholder Management: - Proactively represent business in the New Product Introductions and drive execution until product is in sustaining mode - Play a leadership role in the standardization of account deliverables and ensure adherence to commitments - Maneuver through complex political situations Planning & Execution: - Manage medium to large size new product introductions, involving diverse global teams and require significant cross-functional interaction - Analyze demand and backlog data in conjunction with customers credit ratings and funding, distribution flexibility, channel directions. - Monitor, track and report on account performance from pre PO commitment to POD - Develop and implement channel strategies and account support plans for NPI - Handle complex account issues and resolutions, including driving process improvements, automation, documentation, operational metrics, and reporting, as well as leading NPI communication strategy, guidelines and templates for partners

      Education & Experience

      BA/BS Required. MBA Desirable. PMP certification and Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency a plus.
