      Job Description

      • You convert analog semiconductor circuits into a suitable layout and record all technical requirements. In addition, you check the documents provided by the semiconductor manufacturers and derive measures for the ASIC layout.
      • You will develop complete solution concepts for complex PC cells and implement them, as well as participate in further technical development for future generations.
      • You are responsible for providing highly qualitative Analog Layout from Analog circuits in Automotive ASIC projects in a wide range of S/C processes.
      • You will be responsible for providing the analog layout on schedule in accordance with various specifications. Furthermore, you perform all necessary process steps such as layout creation, development of PCell concepts and their implementation, control and documentation.
      • You are part of international ASIC development teams for innovative Automotive applications. During the implementation you are in close cooperation with the project manager, the circuit designer and the layout team.

      Qualifications

      • Education: completed university degree (Masters/ Diploma) in Engineering, Physics or comparable similar qualifications
      • Personality: team player, motivated, creative, assertive, well-organized, analytic thinking
      • Working Practice: proactive, highly responsible, independent
      • Experience and Knowledge: several years of professional experience in ASIC design in the field of layout of analog and mixed-signal circuits; good knowledge in analog circuit design, also tool knowledge in Cadence Virtuoso (LayoutXL & Schematic Editor), Cadence Assura and Mentor Calibre; experience with Cadence PCell Designer, Cadence Voltus-Fi; Programming knowledge in Cadence SKILL would be an asset.
      • Languages: very good skills in written and spoken German and English
