Overview

Under general direction, plays a critical role in the organization's data management and reporting initiatives. Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data models within the EDW as well as creating insightful reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of data in the data warehouse, providing technical guidance and support to other super users within the business units.

Pay starts at $31.73/hr

Responsibilities

▪ Analyzes business requirements and translates them into data models with the EDW framework.▪ Develops and deploy reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using Microsoft Power BI and other similar tools.▪ Designs intuitive and interactive visualizations to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.▪ Participates in the development of ETL processes. Ensures data integrity and accuracy through validation and data cleansing processes.▪ Develops and maintains data models, data governance policies and procedures.▪ Participates in the development of data governance and enforcement of those policies and best practices.▪ Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements. Collaborate with IT teams to align data solutions with business objectives.▪ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:▪ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field

EXPERIENCE:▪ 2+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence report writing▪ Experience in a healthcare environment or non-profit preferred.▪ Experience with Microsoft Power BI.▪ Microsoft Azure experience desirable.▪ Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering methodologies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:▪ Experience with report development using Microsoft Power BI▪ Experience with ETL tools and process▪ Experience sourcing, modeling and analyzing both structured and unstructured data using tools like SQL and other industry data modeling tools.▪ Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data warehouses.▪ Strong communication skills.▪ Understanding of data governance policies and procedures.▪ Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.▪ Able to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.▪ Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.▪ Ability to maintain customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.▪ Ability to exercise discretion, demonstrate good judgement, and maintain a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.▪ Ability to travel locally; maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and vehicle registration.
