      Job Summary

      The Accounts Receivable Analyst will execute and ensure completion of the day-to-day operations related to receivables created by sales in the restaurants and by our franchise partners. This position requires knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including subledger accounting, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and decision-making skills with problem resolution. It requires a high level of customer service as it requires interaction with third-party service providers and internal team members supporting restaurant operations.

      What You Bring to the Team
      • Monitor/Review Franchise Sales entered by Franchise Partners in reporting tool
      • Monitor Franchise Sales inbox
      • Ensure timely and accurate recording of billings and receipts, including third-party delivery, catering, franchise royalties and miscellaneous billings, and various other programs that Brinker restaurants support
      • Execute weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual accounting processes accurately, completely, and timely to ensure integrity of financial data
      • Calculate and create journal entries and accruals as needed
      • Perform reconciliation of receivable balances and other balance sheet accounts
      • Perform research on outstanding obligations and/or unapplied receipts to determine resolution
      • Collaborate with internal partners, including Restaurant Accounting and Franchise Operations, to resolve sales discrepancies within weekly billings
      • Help identify process improvements, as necessary
      • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
      • Ensure SOX compliance in the respective Accounts Receivable processes

      Your Key Job Functions
      • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
      • 5+ years of accounting experience
      • Proven proficiency with Microsoft office application, with extensive experience using excel
      • Strong ability to communicate both verbally and written. Using good judgement on communicating significant matters appropriately to leadership when necessary
      • Ability to problem solve by working through and resolving day-to-day issues independently
      • Self-starter with strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
      • Strong ability to collaborate and influence effectively with both with internal and external stakeholders. Being able to build trust and relationships across the team and the organization.
      • Possess high professional ethics and adaptability and flexibility as job responsibilities are broadened with experience. Able to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
