- Develop a solid understanding of the potential client/client’s industry including specific information regarding the “value proposition” (strategy, competitive landscape, strengths, and weaknesses). Synthesize information accurately, so that it is easily incorporated into a readable, client-ready document.
- Monitors announcements of incoming and outgoing board members across key markets, along with their professional backgrounds, to identify emerging patterns and contribute to our intellectual capital publications
- Liaise with consultant and client development team for business development and client facing materials across all stages of prospecting – from new leads to competitive presentations, while ensuring consistency of content across geographies, industries and functions in the firm
- Drafting storylines and narratives which underscore the firm’s ability serve new and prospective clients and to deliver excellence.
- Crafting sales enablement documents to elevate the firm’s ability to discover and develop board leadership for a better future
- Take ownership for the team’s content management. Help maintain tools and systems to assist in centralizing and organizing business development materials, including standardized and/or tailored presentations, developing sample reports, drafting proposal letters and the like.
- Participate and contribute as needed to internal business development calls and Board & CEO Practice calls as guided by the Client Development Manager
- Provide administrative and communications support, including proofing, formatting and content revisions for internal and external reporting and communications
- Developing and enhance good relationship with key stakeholders and collaborative partners across the firm.
- Tracking various Board and CEO Practice data points such as business development opportunities, actively booked assignments, and placement data.
- Recent university graduate or up to two years of business experience in a relevant professional services environment
- Strong academic performance is required (Bachelor/ Master's Degree)
- Well-roundedness demonstrated through leadership experience in internships, work experience, community service, athletics, or roles in student-led organizations
- Advanced research, analysis, and synthesis skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed and proactive in nature; resourceful, team-oriented and tenacious
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- In possession of work authorizations necessary for the country in which you are applying
- Providing accurate and timely research information about executives, organizations, markets or other relevant sectors.
- Taking ownership of the project by doing what is needed at all phases of the research process, anticipating next steps and not waiting to be told what to do.
- Regularly reassessing priorities to align resources where/when needed and proactively reprioritizing own workload to provide additional support to assignment team where/when needed.

Position Summary
The Analyst will be responsible for support of varied client development and business generation projects for the Board and CEO Practice in EMEA and globally. Working closely with associates, senior associates and consultants primarily of the Board and CEO Practice and also other Industry Practices, the Analyst will perform in-depth research, data collection and stewardship, prepare original analysis and insights, develop bespoke capabilities documents (quals), and handle other assignments as directed. Over time, it is expected that the Analyst will develop expertise in Board composition analyses, trends in CEO and Board recruitment, Board refreshment, CEO succession and diversity topics.
This role will be based in our Amsterdam Corporate Office while interacting with the EMEA region.
