What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and evaluate business requirements and consult with stakeholders to ensure model design reflects business needs
- Design, build, and maintain functionality and solutions in Anaplan in line with best practices
- Continuously monitor and optimize Anaplan models for performance
- Develop and maintain strong documentation on assumptions, models, and processes for end users and other model builders
- Provide subject matter expertise on best practices using Anaplan while maintaining knowledge of current and emerging trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder certified or equivalent training completed
- 2-5+ years of experience working as a model builder in Anaplan or another EPM tool
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Anaplan Solution Architect certified
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and integration
- Familiarity with QuickSight, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence software
- Background in the insurance domain, particularly individual life insurance, annuities, group insurance, and/or retirement planning
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
