- Use Alight’s systems to review, classify, triage, and assign initial reports of suspected fraud from customers, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Gathering evidence including querying, obtaining, sorting, analyzing, correlating, documenting, and preserving relevant customer account changes, authentication, and other activity.
- Assist in the development of fraud models by validating instances of activity and suggesting potential fraud indicators for analysis.
- Identify current trends, in fraud by examining user accounts and application patterns.
- Propose process enhancements to prevent fraud activities.
- Provide recommendations on fraud measures and controls to address evolving user behaviors and trends.
- Collaborate closely with support teams to conduct research and take appropriate actions on user accounts.
- Monitor user logs to detect any transactions or fraudulent accounts.
- Analyze large volumes of data to investigate identify trends and report potential links to fraudulent activities.
- Offer support in resolving complex issues that may arise promptly and accurately.
- Perform analysis on GIACT risk codes, flag alerts, for investigation purposes.
- Generate reports, monitor behaviors and track emerging fraud strategies.
- Use Alight’s systems to conduct proactive fraud detection.
- Work collaboratively with other fraud investigators and internal/external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership in the context of the role.

Reporting to Alight’s Manager of Anti-Fraud Strategy and Response within Client & Customer Security, this role will conduct duties to protect the organization from fraud through vigilant monitoring, data analysis, and strategic response.
This role responsibilities include detecting irregularities in user logs and transactions, aiding in the development of fraud detection models, and identifying emerging fraud trends. The role demands proposing process enhancements and providing recommendations on fraud measures and controls so, we are seeking an individual with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Collaboration with support teams for research and action on flagged accounts is crucial. Analytical skills are essential for investigating large data sets and reporting on fraudulent activities. Swift and accurate resolution of complex issues and analysis of risk codes are also integral to the role. This position is central to safeguarding the organization's financial and reputational integrity.

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $64,500.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $102,500.00/year (for full-time employees).
