      About the role

      As an Analyst in the Home Loans Portfolio, your purpose will be to play a role in designing, coordinating and ensuring planned changes to our home loan systems and processes, all of which must be introduced successfully to our customers, bankers and supporting users across all ANZ home lending channels.
      The role is for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills. The successful candidate will be able to build collaborative relationships across the organization, independently manage tasks and maintain short and long-term projects.

      As an Analyst, your role & responsibilities include:

      • Translating business requirements into system requirements by understanding needs, feasibility, and impact
      • Designing technical and non-technical solutions to resolve a problem or meet a customer’s need .
      • Providing advice, recommendations and thought leadership, based on expertise and experience to address customer needs.
      • Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
      • The ability to come up with new solutions, to solve problems, to plan for the future, to critique, innovate and engage.
      • The ability to determine and document a list of what needs to be achieved and the work that must be done.
      • Collaborating with Journey Experts, interface partners, vendors and IT teams to resolve any issues and ensuring solutions are viable and considered.
      • Creating and managing technical design artefacts in Confluence and sharing those with the wider audience.
      • Develop, analyse, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for our vendor and testers to follow.

      What will your day look like

      As an analyst, you will:

      • Partner with the product owner to validate requirements and priorities and ensure alignment to value
      • Partner with the product owner, engineers and other people in the squad to uncover dependencies and validate boundaries and sequencing of user stories
      • Collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate business requirements into workable technology outcomes for the Squad
      • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to perform more effective and efficient analysis
      • Optimise workflow management to ensure traceability back to strategic alignment
      • Verify and validate what is in production (especially after changes)
      • Understanding customer needs and ensuring tests cases are designed to meet acceptance criteria

      What will you bring?

      To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

      • Over all 10+ Years of experience as a Technical Analyst
      • Broad knowledge of hardware, software and programming
      • Good interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details.
      • Leadership skills to drive upliftment of existing Analysts and decision making for existing and new features in the solutions owned by the squad.
      • Excellent problem-solving skills and system inventive thinking for business problems
      • Ability to lead and complete the desirability, feasibility and viability assessments for new features keeping ‘systemic’ thinking in the focus.
      • Strong articulation skills and able to break down and elaborate one-line problem statements into Features, Epics, User Stories, Tasks etc.
      • Systems analysis, integration, troubleshooting and exposure to various workflow applications.
      • Basic knowledge of APIs, Soap web service and other integration services is a plus
      • Tech Specialization: SQL, AIX / Windows, Websphere / WAS, Middleware, Java, React, Angular, Hashicorp, API Mesh, Ping / Token Issue, JSON / XML, Ping Federate (SSO), SSIS, .NET
      • Tools: Artifactory, BitBucket, Control-M, Dynatrace, GitHub, Splunk, Jenkins, SOAP UI, Postman, Selenium, Signavio, Visio, Dynatrace, Montebank, Udeploy
      • Work Management: Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian Jira
      • Domain Knowledge: Home Loans Origination, Document Storage, Workflow, Credit Assessment, Fulfilment, Valuations
