      Job Purpose

      The Analyst will work across the Gas Pipeline Safety & Compliance function. This role will be a subject matter expert in the implementation, management and support of NG Operator Qualification (OQ) Program Compliance in all regions

      Key Accountabilities

      • Lead and manage NG Task to Title requirements to ensure proper alignment with work being performed
      • Implement, manage and assess the OQ program effectiveness based on established methodologies
      • Responsible for NG OQ Program compliance
      • Manage NG OQ Written Plans
      • Actively participate with industry trade associations, external organizations, and other utilities to understand industry trends and best practices
      • Challenge existing ways of working and continuously seek and recommend solutions to do things better in order to drive greater efficiencies
      • Lead OQ test content creation/revisions based on NG Policies and Standards
      • Manage the day-to-day relationship with Gas Operations and Gas Technical Training to ensure adherence to standards and best outcomes for National Grid
      • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 3+ years related gas experience
      • Knowledge and understanding of:
      • Gas pipeline system
      • National Grid Gas Work Methods related to Operator Qualification
      • NY State 16 CRR-NY 255.604NY-CRR
      • Title 49 CFR 192, Subpart N: Qualification of Pipeline Personnel
      • Excel and PowerPoint experience.
      • Project planning experience preferred
      • Strong presentation skills
      • Business and data analytical skills in order to understand, analyze and collate relevant information
      • Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs/ requirements
      • Valid driver’s license

      Salary

      $83,000 - $98,000 a year

      This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
