      Position

      The Business Operations Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring the ongoing integrity of our client transactional and reporting based systems. They provide support to the user community through expert knowledge of the systems and procedures used in maintaining client data. This support is offered through situational analysis and providing solutions to reported /detected problems. Problems will be resolved within a set of pre-determined service standards agreed on with management. The role is designed to provide detective, preventative, and mitigating activities to minimize impacts to clients, and the systems’ user community.

      Responsibilities Include:

      • Maintain configuration to support business needs and in compliance with established controls including testing of changes and baseline review of fees outlined in the prospectus.
      • Coordinate end to end system updates for product launches.
      • Coordinate and test CSOX in accordance with established controls.
      • User Acceptance Testing to validate business rules and system changes.
      • Maintain statistics and dashboards.
      • Review and maintain documentation.
      • Coordinate regulatory mailing productions, quality control and issue management.
      • Provide product and operational support:
        • accurate and timely client reporting documents including client statements, tax slips, trade confirmations and fund facts.
        • Respond to inquiries from business, external partners and vendors.
        • Investigate and log system problems, submit file fixes and recommend system enhancements.
        • Collaborate with developers and applications support teams to resolve issues.
      • Participate in projects across IGM that impact systems and business processes.

      Qualifications:

      • 3 year Business experience and/or Post-secondary degree or diploma in business or a relevant field
      • Knowledge of IGM product shelf and specialized products
      • Relevant experience of business processes, rules, procedures and outcomes.
      • Relevant experience of how client data is maintained in the Transfer Agency systems.
      • High level knowledge of how financial transactions are calculated or reported / and or expertise in transaction processing.
      • Independent and adaptive learner with analytical skills to support multiple IGM applications.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel (advanced), MS Access)
      • Knowledge of SQL or VBA scripts is an asset.
      • Successful completion of the Canadian Investment Funds course/Operations Course and the Canadian Securities Course is an asset.
