Job Description

- Reporting into Manager of Business Planning & Insights, become integral member of the business planning and strategic analysis of the MLSE Global Partnerships portfolio
- Develop a deep and detailed understanding of our business and the competitive environment to continually deliver against growth projections and the respective objectives of MLSE’s various business units
- Contribute to the development and execution of department financial planning, leaning on current and historical trends to forecast financial results for future years
- Be accountable for department reporting needs to a variety of stakeholders (across the department, other MLSE business units, executive leadership team and MLSE Board of Directors)
- Liaise with legal to paper all partnership agreements are documented accurately capturing all deliverables between the partners
- Lead monthly business reporting with cross-divisional leaders to identify business risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Work closely with asset operation team to ensure yield maximization on all available assets
- Ongoing support in improving efficiency of department processes and the potential implement new tools to support (i.e. Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, LinkedIn)
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team at MLSE throughout all stages of the business life cycle – planning, execution, analysis, learning/evolving for the future – to ensure we continue to be positioned for growth year over year
- Support Manager of Business Planning & Insights in working with our leagues (NHL, NBA, MLS, CFL) on league-wide revenue reporting and a variety of information sharing exercises throughout the seasons
- A post-secondary degree in Business Administration within related fields (Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Finance)
- Proven experience in financial planning, consulting, analytics, strategic planning/corporate development or marketing
- Experience in leading sophisticated projects with the ability to work in an environment with fluid structure and operations
- High-level expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential
- Experience using the Salesforce platform
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly present recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with public speaking
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to multi-task and manage evolving priorities
- Shown to perform well under pressure
- Available to work evenings and weekends as the need arises
- A positive, winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentially and discretion

Job Description
MLSE is looking for an inquisitive, detail-oriented and strategic thinker with a passion for sports to join the Global Partnerships team. Reporting to the Manager of Business Planning at Global Partnerships, this role will focus on understanding the details of a complex and mature business that spans across all MLSE properties and incorporates all assets/opportunities the company has to offer. Our group creates outstanding and customized offerings for each of our partners, no two programs are alike.
