      Portfolio Operations Analyst

      The Global Product organization delivers the holistic product strategy for Visa and accelerates the seamless delivery of our products into markets.       The Portfolio Operations team is accountable for driving transparent and consistent portfolio management practices to ensure the highest impact investments are prioritized

      We are seeking for a team player, self-starter who enjoys solving problems, using data to drive insights, influencing stakeholders to bring consistency and alignment, and who wants to successfully impact the future growth of Visa.

      Position Summary

      This role will report to the Sr Director of Portfolio Operations and will help define and execute on product portfolio management practices, operating models between Global and Regional teams, and support planning and day-to-day portfolio management activities, in close partnership with the Product Management and Development teams for one Business Unit within the Global Product team.

      Experience in program or portfolio management, and product development or management is critical. She he is thoughtful, curious, and analytical with a desire to make an impact. Experience in today’s complex, global payments ecosystem is a foundational aspect of the role.

      Essential functions

      • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure business case process is executed appropriately
      • Lead manage product portfolio funding processes with focus on calendar of events and required forms templates are completed with the necessary details accuracy
      • Support a product portfolio prioritization framework to maximize return on portfolio investments
      • Drive collaboration and alignment between key Global Product and Product Development stakeholders to ensure the right insights drive deeper discussions on portfolio health and competing priorities
      • Manage HC Transfer and Requests (Envelops), including Regional support.
      • Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) forums, including PG Deck, Status Tracker Updates, and Dynamics Case Management

      This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

      Qualifications

      Basic Qualifications

      • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
      • Experience in managing product portfolio investment with annual capital investment of dollar100M
      • Experience preferred in JIRA Align
      • Experience in agile product development, preferably in the payments industry
      • Strong financial background

      Preferred Qualifications

      • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
      • Experience with defining and implementing new processes
      • Results-driven and able to collaborate with management and colleagues to share responsibility for end-to-end solution
      • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence and guide a diverse customer audience, including C-level executives, product, and technical stakeholders
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment self-motivated, self-managed
      • Strong organizational skill, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
      • Strong customer service and relationship management skills
      • Adept strategic thinker and problem solver
      • Excellent MS Office experience (Power Point, Excel, Visio)

      Additional Information

      Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

      Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

      Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

      U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 98,000.00 to 125,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
