Job Description

- Responsible for day-to-day tasks within the team, including updating reports, analyzing data and providing insights to the CRM Team;
- Support the process of establishing pricing strategy across categories, for new and existing product groups;
- Gather, connect and analyze large sets of data from various sources, including internal and external information;
- Utilize the NielsenIQ Revenue Optimizer Software to support work on scenario modeling to test and analyze opportunities to reach and exceed margin and volume targets;
- Monitor execution of price strategy and report on pricing performance versus expectations;
- Maintain accuracy of data within the price and promo data tools;
- Collaborate with various cross-functional teams;
- Assist with ad hoc requests and opportunities as they arise;
- University degree in business, finance, economics, marketing or a related area;
- At least 1 year of experience in price and promo analytics, revenue management and/or financial analysis, preferably in CPG;
- English spoken and written is essential;
- Demonstrated strength in financial analysis, business intelligence, and market research;
- Ability to transform raw data into actionable insights and tell a compelling story that enables informed decision making;
- Ability to take initiative and work independently or as part of a team as necessary;
- Curiosity and creativity in developing recommendations to complex challenges;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite;
- Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen), NielsenIQ and retailer POS systems would be an asset

Reporting to the Director Category Revenue Management, the Analyst works closely with CRM, Sales, Finance and Strategic Business Development in various aspects of Pricing and Promotion Architecture, P&L development and other analytical support functions. This position requires a strong analyst comfortable with large sets of information and has a true passion to extract key insights from the marketplace and utilize financial acumen to understand and report on risks and opportunities.
