- To contribute in conducting client due diligence of retail segment
- This role involves communicating with RM/ Frontline/ Client, knowing customer and raising suspicion (if applicable).
- Initiate Client contact (for RM managed accounts, RM may perform the client contact on behalf of the Individual CDD team for document collection)
- Complete CDD related documentation and ensure completeness of CDD information for ETB and NTB clients before submission to the SAT team who will check the quality of the CDD information before approval
- Ensure that the information and document retained as part of CDD can be retained in a manner that meets legal and regulatory requirement as well as CDD Procedures.
- Responsible for implementation and continued compliance with relevant laws and regulations (including changing AML related regulations), policies, procedures and risk control requirements through application of consistent group practices
- Directs and executes activity within Individual CDD team and optimize end to end overall Individual CDD related processes and practices
- Ensures alignment, maintenance and updating of relevant systems as required to achieve required operational and regulatory outcomes
- Trains and provides business process and operational expertise and guidance to in-country teams in relation to understanding end to end the related processes and their connectivity to Individual CDD policy and procedure standards that impact their day-to-day business activities
- Works closely with project teams/stakeholders to drive projects/initiatives related to the Individual CDD space to ensure successful and timely delivery
- Assures Individual CDD risk management through testing of the related CSTs ensures compilation, review and distribution of M.I, reports and escalates exceptions and tracks to closure
- Partners and actively collaborates with all relevant stakeholders across the Individual CDD functional and advisory space to build robust and sustainable operational and execution excellence

- Enhance the control environment to minimise operational risk.
- Review operational risk reports and initiate and approve action plans. Follow-up on progress/action plans to address operational risks.
- Ensure operational disciplines such as capacity and risk management are well embedded, measured and tracked.
- Ensuring implementation of control standards, policies, and procedures Operational Risk Framework (ORF).
- Identify processing risks or inefficiencies and implement appropriate and effective changes.
- Effective management of respective risks including reporting high or very high rated risks based on Group materiality thresholds to the relevant Operational Risk Committees.
- Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees.

- Ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.
- Establish and maintain rigor in monitoring performance against budgets.
- Balance business performance delivery and cost management with risk and control matters to ensure that it does not materially threaten the Group/Country, remaining within risk appetite.
- Ensure adequate oversight is given to acquisition and integration activities.
- Ensure a clear strategy is devised to achieve the fair dealing and fair accountability outcomes which are clearly communicated to all CDD Operations staff.

- Bachelor’s degree with major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines.
