      What You'll Be Doing

      You will provide a broad range of analytical and research support to all professionals within the Project Finance, Infrastructure, Power & Utilities group. Responsibilities include financial and credit analysis, financial modeling including debt sizing, due diligence, industry research and assisting in the preparation of credit narratives, presentation materials, RFP submissions and client pitch books. The Analyst is also actively involved in the credit approval process, documentation and closing of loan transactions, on-going monitoring of loans, and providing support to senior professionals in the management of overall credit relationships.

      We are open to hiring an Associate for this position based on the candidate's breadth of experience.

      How You'll Succeed

      • Credit Facilities - Assist in providing sound, timely, and well-communicated recommendations for credit facilities supported by a thorough analysis and a well-executed interpretation of relevant financial, industry, business and market information.

      • Financial Modeling - Run financial models mainly focused on credit analysis including debt sizing and risk rating evaluation. Play a key role in the preparation of credit narratives and committee presentation documents.

      • Financial Solutions - Work with Capital Markets partners to develop effective financial solutions for our clients. and maintain group’s databases on a current basis.

      • Proposals - Assist in preparing other written documents including business development proposals and company information documents for marketing purposes and assist on business development calls as required.

      • Travel - Must be able to travel on short notice and be absent from the office for periods of time and accept flexibility in required personal time commitments to complete work assignments.

      Who You Are

      • You have relevant professional experience with project finance, power, infrastructure or lending is preferred with demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills (i.e. financial and data analysis).

      • You have attained relevant designations such as MBA, CPA/CA, CFA or other relevant professional designation considered as asset. Comfortable with modifying financial models and running sensitivities in order to review and analyze financial and credit metrics including debt sizing.

      • You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to explain detailed financial and statistical analyses.

      • You are technically savvy. Strong technical/computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg).
