      Job Description:
      This job is responsible for performing financial and statistical analyses, conducting research, and preparing support documentation and client presentation materials. Key responsibilities include supporting with the development of client presentations and structuring and execution activities. Job expectations may include rotating through any of the multiple client management, credit management, and capital raising product areas across Global Corporate and Investment Banking in a sales function.

      Bank of America is looking for an Analyst to join the Real Estate Corporate Banking team in Charlotte.

      Real Estate Corporate Banking builds strategic partnerships with CFO, CEOs, and other key decision-makers within its targeted client group. The team coordinates the delivery of the full range of franchise capabilities. The team provides client coverage advice and product partner management for debt and traditional banking products, coordinated closely with the Investment Banker (whose focus is primarily on M&A and Equity). Client base consists of strategic public REITS, national homebuilders, lodging companies, real estate funds and real estate service companies.

      The Analyst role is to support the primary coverage officers to create and deliver client solutions from all aspects of our franchise. As an active team member, this individual would assist coverage bankers in the delivery of the full breadth of products and services to clients and prospects. This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity for substantial client interaction and career development. The role encompasses the following responsibilities:

      Responsibilities:

      • Conducts financial analyses and prepares support documentation for client presentations
      • Researches products and services in the market to gain insight into marketing and sales trends
      • Supports the trading strategy to build effective client relationships and provide customized products and services to clients
      • Participates in due diligence sessions, while communicating and interacting with deal team members
      • Assists with sales, trading, and hedging activities and documents key findings for the team
      • Develop client presentations for “value add” call meetings and enhance client development with C-suite executives
      • Perform various financial analyses, including on merger/acquisitions, capital structure and credit quality
      • Review credit agreements and indentures to analyze covenant, baskets and other relevant restriction
      • Communicate and interact with core and extended client team members from various product groups
      • Prepare client and product reviews in order to identify client needs and opportunities
      • Able to navigate and lead internal processes
      • Participate in client meetings and portfolio planning/product partner sessions

      Qualifications:

      • BS/BA required, concentration in business, finance, accounting, economics or related degree preferred
      • Must have a combination of strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus
      • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communication skills
      • Required to manage multiple projects at the same time and work effectively both individually and as part of a team
      • Extensive knowledge of products and markets-preferably in the public RE sector as well as modeling expertise
      • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities.
