What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute participation profit share and distribution statements according to contractual agreements
- Compile and review transactional data to support statement reporting
- Interpret and summarize artist and label contracts, creating related statements and financial schedules
- Apply financial accounting skills to review profitability analysis and perform reconciliations
- Maintain vendor master data and coordinate payments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree required, preferably in accounting or finance-related fields
- 0-2 years of experience working in a related capacity
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, working with large data sets and complex calculations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal skills, able to work cross-functionally and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the Entertainment, Media, or Music Industry, particularly in Participations/Royalties or a similar role
- Background in financial statement preparation
- Technically savvy, with exposure to SAP S4 Hana, MS Teams, and SharePoint
