What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform research and analysis of healthcare claims, pharmacy, and lab data to evaluate network utilization and cost containment
- Manage small to large-scale projects initiated by health plans and corporate partners
- Design and develop solutions to meet business needs using various technologies
- Provide quality oversight, including mentorship and training for new employees
- Prioritize and complete tasks and report requests through the SharePoint request system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare data analysis or related field
- Proficiency in SQL (advanced level), MS Excel (advanced level), and Power BI
- Familiarity with claims and membership data and experience managing recurring and ad-hoc reports
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Managed Care/Payer or Hospital/medical systems data
- Understanding of ICD-10 codes, CPT/HCPCS codes, and membership files
- Strong process documentation skills and understanding of version control
- Proven presentation skills and ability to work as a self-starter
