What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
- Perform basic malware analysis
- Develop and improve processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be willing to work a 4x10 schedule, including a day on the weekend
- Must be willing to work on-site (hybrid schedule)
- This role is only open to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders
- BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, or a related field, or relevant work experience and/or training
- Strong project management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience conducting or managing incident response for organizations
- Background using a variety of forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations
- Knowledge of network protocols and ability to perform analysis of associated network logs
- Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis
- Experience coding in languages such as C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET
