      Job Description

      Ares Management is looking to hire an Analyst to join our Global Client Solutions (GCS) team focused on Investor Strategy & Solutions in Los Angeles. Investor Strategy & Solutions is expanding its team to support the firm’s strategic objectives related to fundraising and client service. The Analyst will assist our Investor Strategy & Solutions team with all ongoing efforts towards organizational management, data projects, and communication across different groups within the firm.

      REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

      Reports to: Managing Director, Head of Investor Operations & Services

      Supervises: n/a

      PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Provide organizational and project management support across the Investor Operations team

      • Assist with various data projects analyzing firm AUM, inflows, fundraising, and the overall investor experience

      • Work closely with Relationship Management and Product Management teams to streamline and centralize processes across different groups including Finance, Accounting, and Legal

      • Assist in developing and implementing new workflows utilizing technology to improve current processes

      • Provide Salesforce coordination and support across Relationship Management and Product Management teams and champion awareness and adoption of Salesforce best practices

      • Draft and update internal and external presentations and other ad hoc requests in support of Relationship Management leadership

      • Build strong network across the firm to facilitate strong collaboration with various business operations groups including Technology, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Tax, and Compliance

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Education:

      • College graduate with major in Economics, Finance, Political Science, General Business, or Management preferred, with outstanding academic record

      Experience Required:

      • 1-3 years of experience preferably within investment/wealth management, business management/strategy, accounting, legal, consulting, and/or financial services

      • Experience working with alternative asset classes is a plus, but not required

      • Experience using marketing cloud tools and other delivery methods is a plus

      • Experience using coding languages (e.g. R, SQL, Python) is a plus

      • Strong team player who enjoys collaboration and working cross-functionally to drive change

      • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

      • Outstanding presentation, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills

      • Excellent time management skills and ability to collaborate with others

      • Strong ability to collaborate, prioritize and multi-task under pressure and drive processes and results with remarkable attention to detail

      • Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and articulate data, and make informed decisions

      • Work experience in a position requiring a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information

      Compensation

      The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

      $80,000 - $100,000
