Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Systems Analyst to support the modernization of our enterprise asset management platform as we transition from legacy systems to a unified IBM Maximo solution. This role will focus on supporting the full implementation lifecycle—configuration, integration, testing, and deployment—while ensuring alignment with financial systems, procurement processes, and operational goals.
This platform will ultimately support over 20,000 users, making this an impactful opportunity for an analyst with expertise in asset management, DevOps practices, and financial system integrations.
Qualifications:
3–5+ years of experience in application systems analysis, with a focus on enterprise asset management and financial systems.
Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo (configuration, support, and/or implementation).
Demonstrated experience integrating systems with financial applications (general ledger, invoicing, POs, sourcing systems).
Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience supporting large enterprise systems and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Background in asset-intensive industries (utilities, transportation, facilities, retail, etc.).
Familiarity with scripting, SQL queries, and Maximo Automation Scripting.
Experience working in large-scale implementations with a 10K+ user base.
Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the full implementation of IBM Maximo as the enterprise asset management (EAM) platform, including migration from legacy systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sourcing, Procurement, Operations) to integrate Maximo with systems such as general ledger, invoicing, and purchase order platforms.
Apply DevOps principles to support efficient deployment, version control, and continuous improvement of Maximo configurations and integrations.
Analyze business requirements, document system workflows, and assist in solution design for asset tracking, lifecycle management, and procurement processes.
Facilitate data migration efforts, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency between systems.
Develop and execute test plans for system validation, integrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide Level 2/3 application support post-go-live, working closely with technical teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Maintain and enhance system documentation, configuration logs, and training materials for technical and non-technical users.
Monitor user adoption and performance of the Maximo environment to ensure scalability for 20K+ users.
