- Assist in the depot & M&R rate negotiation, analysis, and approval process.
- Maintain and update depot & M&R rate databases within the ONE system.
- Support the overall depot procurement process.
- Help with pre and post-planning activities for depot / M&R procurement/onboarding.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and contribute to the development, monitoring, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators.
- Utilize tools like Looker to assist in developing reports for measuring cost and volume metrics.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
- Assist the team with the onboarding process for new and existing depots.
- Support the resolution of invoice disputes and escalations.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and with other departments.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Reliability: Responsive, dependable, and strong follow-through on assignments.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to evaluate data, contribute to analysis, and assist in problem resolution.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness in data entry and analysis.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of inland logistics and intermodal operations is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas.
- Experience with Google Workspace (G-Suite).
- Aptitude for learning new data platforms and tools quickly.
- Experience: Prior intermodal transportation & equipment experience is highly preferred.
- Troubleshooting: Basic troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn complex issues.

Role Summary:
As an Analyst, Depot & M&R Procurement, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the department's objectives by assisting with the organization and monitoring of work processes. You'll work closely with the Supervisor and team to execute daily tasks, apply departmental processes, and help resolve operational, technical, or tactical business issues. Building and maintaining good working relationships with vendors and partners will be an important aspect of your role. You'll actively contribute to the Depot & M&R rate analysis and approval process.
