- 5+ years financial analysis, preferably in healthcare industry.
- Previous Contract Management experience preferred but not required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge must be able to perform pivot tables and vlookups.
- Knowledge of SQL preferred but not required.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of critical thinking.
- Strong organizational skills, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously.
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies and coding (DRG, APC, CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10).
- Familiarity with reading and understanding healthcare contracts especially for hospitals/acute care.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding the basics of the UB04 bill.
This position is responsible for managed care financial analysis, modeling and analyzing contract proposals, as well as loading & maintaining contracts terms into the contract management system. This person may also assist with contract negotiation processes as needed and make recommendations to the Managed Care negotiators regarding terms of the contract. This person will act as a liaison between FinThrive, the Conifer Business Office, and the Managed Care negotiators for resolution and feedback of any related items. This person may work with managed care payors to resolve any claims related issues in order to enhance managed care contract performance.
Qualifications:
