Assist in the resolution of all client queries that have arisen from an action undertaken by Market Ops, undertaking root cause analysis arising from client issues, develop and deliver actions plans to drive continuous improvement.
Support a sustainable, cost-effective target operating model to support business needs, adapting as the business model evolves.
Contribute to and develop existing business relationships with partners through the provision of performance measurements and partner engagement.
Build and maintain procedures and interpret and apply policy for Markets Middle Office to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the organisation.
Support the wide range of activities of Middle Office teams ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by collaborating closely with all internal risk management functions while supporting the development and implementation of the organisation's compliance policy.
Ensure adherence with Group policy, procedures and guidelines, quality standards and all regulatory and statutory requirements.
Measure and report critical metrics. Engage with industry developments appropriate to business area and the wider market and understand how the external environment, including the regulatory landscape will inspire change within Markets & Lending Delivery
Assist key partners with programme objectives, ensuring confidence in delivered solutions, ensuring they are market leading and support the implementation of change when required.
Provide appropriate support and insight into the Financial Markets and Capital Markets products supporting partners in delivering appropriate solutions for clients looking to issue into these markets utilising Markets knowledge and expertise.
Ensure information is continually communicated and where necessary, problems are brought up to Management in a timely and efficient manner.
Be forward thinking and take ownership in supporting new processing models that include digital solutions, keeping pace with an evolving external digital and regulatory landscape.
An understanding of Financial and Capital Markets products and end to end system infrastructures including Primary and Secondary markets. Bonds, Corporate actions, FX, Rates could be included with these products.
Knowledge of XVA, CVA would be ideal but not essential.
Technical knowledge of the business to meet all business needs. Ability to translate complex business requirements into a clear effective delivery.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across different audiences.
Ability to deliver in a complex, multi-dimensional, client facing and fast moving Financial and Capital Markets environment.
In depth knowledge of policy, procedures and the global regulatory and statutory requirements.
Excellent partner, organisational and time management skills. Ability to engage with senior partners at third parties (including other industry participants, trade bodies) and suppliers, always looking for the best result for LBG, whilst ensuring relationships are not compromised, and working in a professional and empathetic manner.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the following products: Bonds including Primary issuance / MMI / MTNs / Derivatives / Structured Products / MM / FX / Rates

About This Opportunity
The Analyst will work as part of our Markets Middle Office team providing specialist technical, analytical, advisory and transactional management support to our key partners including Corporate & Institutional Banking, Business & Commercial Banking and Group Corporate Treasury across a variety of sophisticated market products with significant portfolio values.
In addition to being able to work within critical timelines, you'll employ strong and articulate communication skills to relay key messages where risks and issues need to be clearly understood and where appropriate decision-making drives risk management activity.
