      The Role

      This position is responsible for the reporting and analysis assignments of Middle Office/Finance team, focusing on conduit settlement reports, securitization transaction reporting, as well as ad-hoc assignments of the department.

      • Ensure the completion of all conduit settlement reports required by funders and answering all funder and/or auditor inquiries
      • Work on enhancements of conduit settlement reports
      • Prepare accruals of securitization programs on a timely basis
      • Provide analysis of tailored securitization programs for profitability
      • Reconcile multiple collections and collateral accounts
      • Provide monthly hedging effectiveness report for financial booking
      • Provide weekly hedging effectiveness report to senior management team
      • Track hedge repo rates and incorporate accurate carry over cost into reports
      • Provide Finance with month end valuation reports of Conduit and Warehouse facilities
      • Update and track new swap settlements based on different swap structures
      • Enhance the automation of modeling and reporting
      • Run several system driven reports for analysis
      • Work on ad-hoc reporting assignment and projects as necessary within the Finance department

      What You Bring To The Team

      • Relevant working experience is an asset
      • Good understanding of Capital Markets and financial instruments, especially ABCP conduits programs
      • Canadian mortgage industry, mortgage underwriting and mortgage securitization experience, Investor relationship or bank settlement experience is an asset
      • Practical Python/VBA coding experience with real project delivery
      • Extremely strong MS Excel skills required
      • Solid software coding experience
      • Strong oral and written communication skills
      • Good time management skills and able to meet tight deadlines while producing quality work
      • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously and able to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
      • Ability to adapt positively and productively to regular changes in the workplace, accepting new challenges and turning them into successes
      • Ability to take on new tasks and learn all the processes that are involved
      • Demonstrated integrity in performing duties and accountability for actions
      • Demonstrated skills in building and nurturing relationships
      • University Degree of Business or Engineering
      • Finance Major is a plus
      • CFA-Level 1 is an asset
