Job Description
- Req#: 103557
- *Performs Qualitative and Quantitative analysis of medical records
- Assembles contents of the medical records according to established policies and procedures.
- Assists in the completion of the records by working with physicians, as needed..
- Reviews charts for omissions and discrepancies and assigns to responsible physician for chart completion.
- Enters in the chart deficiencies into the computer system.
- Performs related duties, as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and/or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years in qualitative analysis in acute care hospital setting.
- Working knowledge of PC applications, required.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Job Description
Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of medical records. Assembles medical records of patient discharged from the hospital. Enters deficiencies into computer system. Assists in the completion of the records by working with physicians, as needed.
