Responsible for creation and communication of shop dispatch list to ensure priority of hardware for responsible work centers in accordance with Schedule demands. Partner with Area Manager in managing the workload order and execution of hardware.
Specify handoffs tasks between buildings, depts., labs, etc.; coordinates the timely ordering /readiness of Production Support Items such as tooling/fixtures/work instructions, NC Programming to ensure on time stats and continuous hardware flow.
Provide support to Liasion Team for proactive Constraint Management for Shop Orders on Hold. Provide tight coordination of tactical level tasks and issue resolution that may cross multiple work centers/area depts
Provide support by creating the Shop Order Books needed for the Shop Floor. Create the Dispatch List for B/106 Kitting to be performed daily.
Analysis near and long term Load reviews for valleys or peeks in the schedules using the Capacity Qlik Application, along with through put metrics to ensure a balance schedule, in an effort to minimize/reduce bow waves or bottlenecks.
Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct activities for the organization.
• Interest in the statusing and tracking hardware.
• Familiarity/experience with inventory management principles
• Experience using Qlik Application, Oracle and Delmia systems, preferred
• Excellent communication, Interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with cross-function/cross-site teams.

Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Production Scheduling/Load Analyst to join our Scheduling & Material Planning Center of Excellence in our Canoga Park, CA facility.

Essential Functions:
In this role, you will organize and coordinate the work of individuals and/or project teams; manage all aspects of assigned projects in one or more operations supporting production activities such as planning, scheduling, material/tool planning and control, production control, shipping, receiving, warehousing and/or transportation, etc.; perform short and long-range planning for assigned functional area(s) and implements approved plans. This is a First Shift position.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and a minimum of three (3) years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $63,500- $118,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
