      High Yield Program Analyst

      The Analyst Program is designed to provide junior professionals the opportunity to learn about asset management through working closely with senior professionals. The Analyst Program includes building models, forecasting, authoring underwriting memos, working on valuations across different asset classes, managing reporting and amendments for existing investments, and actively participating in training and team-building activities.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Support senior research analysts in all aspects of the underwriting process
      • Analyze issuer credit quality and security characteristics through building models and forecasting to support investment recommendations
      • Assess relative value by weighing risk-return profile of investment opportunities within credit coverage universe
      • Review credit agreements and indentures and articulate structural strengths and weaknesses of the documents
      • Complete quarterly and year-end reporting initiatives around earnings, asset pricing and industry reviews

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s Degree with anticipated spring 2024 completion date
      • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field or demonstrated interest in investment management preferred
      • Minimum GPA of 3.0
      • Work experience at a commercial bank, investment bank or similar financial institution or successful completion of a formal commercial credit training program a plus
      • Strong analytical skill set
      • Effective communication skills
      • Demonstrated work ethic
      • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Product Suite
