      Overview

      Fiserv’s Corporate Graduate Programme is an early career development programme where candidates experience two one-year assignments in a core functional role within the firm. Training curriculum, mentoring, on the job learning and exposure to senior leadership will be offered in these entry level opportunities with the ability to advance within our company upon completion of the two-year programme.

      • Department: AI Operations Project Manager

      • Start date: Monday 1st July 2024

      • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)

      • Location: Basildon, Essex

      • Hybrid: Monday – Thursday in office & Friday WFH

      • Salary: £32,000 + £2k sign on + benefits

      Job Description:

      The AI Operations Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, execution, and completion of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) projects. They co-ordinate cross-functional teams, define project schedules, identify risks and dependencies, and allocate resources.

      They liaise between data teams, developers, stakeholders, and other key personnel to ensure everyone works together towards achieving project objectives. They ensure that AI/ML projects align with the business’s strategic objectives and are delivered on time, within scope and budget. They also analyse data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making and project optimization.

      Responsibilities:

      • Develop and implement project management strategies, plans, and objectives for AI/ML projects.

      • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

      • Coordinate and oversee the development and implementation of AI/ML models according to project requirements.

      • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of AI/ML projects, managing risks and resolving issues as they arise.

      • Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.

      • Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services and products.

      • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

      • Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and applications.

      • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

      • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

      Qualifications and Skills

      What we are looking for…

      • Due to graduate in 2024 or a recent graduate in the last 3 years of an Honours or Bachelor Degree programme with a 2.1 equivalent or above. We are open to degree areas.

      • Enthusiasm and inquisitiveness

      • Drive and initiative

      • Self-starter capable of working autonomously

      • Attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

      • Strong excel skill and good understanding of SQL and other data programming languages

      • Collaborative and able to work effectively as a team member

      • Strong communication and presentation skills

      • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities

      • Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge and technical aptitude to learn new applications quickly

      • Project management skills and experience a plus

      • Must possess unrestricted work authorisation and pass background checks
